About AJC

Alana Jennings Coutts

I’m proud to be a designated member of the Appraisal Institute of Canada (AIC), holding both the Canadian Residential Appraiser (CRA) and Professional Appraiser (P.App) designations since July 2018. I earned a Certificate in Residential Valuation from The University of British Columbia – Sauder School of Business, along with a Bachelor of Science from Brandon University.

With over 10 years of experience and thousands of appraisals completed in Winnipeg and surrounding communities, I offer trusted, unbiased valuation services for a wide-range of residential and recreational properties. I complete appraisal reports for mortgage financing, refinancing, foreclosures, relocations, divorce/separation, estate settlement, bankruptcy, and Family Property Accounting.

Growing up in Brandon and spending time at Clear Lake has given me a deep appreciation and unique perspective on Manitoba’s real estate market.

I’m also an active volunteer with the AIC – Manitoba. I am currently President of AIC – MB Provincial Council. I have served terms as President-Elect and Advocacy Chair. I’ve previously contributed to the Communications and Marketing Committee and the Professional Development Committee. I am a member of the AIC’s Peer Review Committee.

Outside of work, I’m involved with the Charleswood community. I also recently started coaching Club Volleyball – an experience I’m loving!

I live in Winnipeg with my husband and two children. In my downtime, I enjoy curling, spending time with family and friends, camping, exploring Clear Lake and cheering on the Winnipeg Jets, Winnipeg SeaBears, Winnipeg Goldeyes and the Brandon Wheat Kings.

Give me a call – I’d be happy to help you with any of your residential appraisal needs, and I’m always glad to explain the process to you or your clients.
